An old 70’s disco hit song, Turn The Beat Around, sung by Vicki Sue Robinson (then Gloria Estefan made it a hit again in the 90’s) was all about the music, but turn the beat around has significant meaning as I see it as a motivation anthem to turning things around in your life, especially if you are financially struggling and finding it difficult to get out of the trap. Believe me I know all about this as is a daily battle to conquer in achieving financial success. It’s not easy but with perseverance can be done.
Working on the mindset is an important aspect to reach your financial goals. Because the right frame of mind is needed in order to succeed. So if there are other issues surrounding you, whether it’s with personal relationships or other things you are dealing with that are interfering, then you must work on resolving these or if cannot, to find motivation to stay focused on the path to success.
I’m just amazed at how some can take the bull by the horns and glide easily into success or it just seems to come easier to them. While others just struggle, work hard and still get nowhere. Then it it must be some stumbling block that is preventing them from achieving and they are not in the right frame of mind to stay focused.
I know I have been having a problem in this area because the environment surrounding me, particularly regarding family issues and living situation, is distracting me to reach my goals. I try to stay positive and focus on what I need to do to bring about change.
One thing is for sure, you need motivating positive factors to change your mindset in order to change your life. If you can’t change your surroundings or find motivation within yourself, find it where you can. Start your day by reading motivating positive quotes, do some relaxation exercises (or take a walk), stay away from negative people (and news) and listen to some upbeat songs to get that mental energy flowing.
It’s time to turn the beat around!
