it’s day 26 of my 30 day qriket make money challenge as it is coming close to an end with 4 days left to go. Sometimes glitches happen when trying to make money and it doesn’t always go as planned. Who said make money online was easy, whether with an app or anything else for that matter, because it’s not.
There was a glitch with the ads on the app, as was stuck on the one ad, and wouldn’t redeem the spin or move onto other ads. Earlier in the day I had 3 spins, but the 6 or 7 for the evening ones were the problem, as it kept repeating the same ad with Jonny & Mark, the qriket guys, promoting their social media. Darn if I could get past that ad! I did chat with their friendly customer service girl on twitter, who tried to help but nothing could be done until to wait for the next round of ads to see if that solves it, which it did…yay!
While on twitter, I also learned that they dropped their referral fees from $1 to .25, which is a bummer. I asked Jamie, qriket customer service, about it and she said that there is now a daily limit of 4 referrals. That means if you refer the max of 4 per day, you could only make a $1 so not really worth promoting now as I was starting to get around one a day, which probably would have increased over time, then haven’t since the day before they changed that rule.
I forgot to ask what if you get more than 4 in a day, does it carry forward or you don’t get anything for that referral. I imagine you don’t get credited for any referrals over 4 in the same day. Somehow it doesn’t sound fair in that aspect for bringing them more business but it is a free app where they are giving free money, so who can argue it. But on the other hand, since they are offering users to make real money as a reason to sign up, so is a two way street here. It probably has to do with percentages of how much they can pay out from their ad revenue and maybe it is amounting to more now as users using the referral aspect of it on top of winning from the spins. I must say they do have a creative way of marketing their app but could be improved even further.

Day twenty six results: After the glitch was solved, I did end up getting my full 10 spins out of 10 ads viewed, and won 6 (4 at .05, 1 at .15 and 1 at .20) for a total of .55 bringing the balance to $14.20. i could really use hitting a $500 spin about now but the odds of that are highly unlikely.
