Whoever wrote that crappy saying “no good deeds go unpunished” wasn’t full of crap afterall! Believe me, I know it to be true as have been living it with my so-called family for sometime now which has been derailing all that I have been trying to achieve. It’s time for me and my cat to break loose from this prison!
The only way to find out how selfish people really are is when you ask for their help! It’s okay when the shoe is on the other foot, with them needing your help which you continually gave over the years and was taken for granted, but when it’s your turn, you get demeaned in the worst way. Oh yeah, and all the good you did is belittled to the point where it amounts to nothing but a piece of driftwood on the shore, so not even a good bargaining tool but rather a whip for punishment. Life sure isn’t fair and makes you wonder if everyone is only out for themself. Light bulb on, I think so!
I’ve had setbacks in my life and bounced back from them, hopefully can do the same here. But now I need to fast forward my way to financial freedom because the monkey, or should I say monkeys, on my back are preventing me from getting there. They take pleasure in my failure!
If that college gameday guy could hold a sign asking for beer money giving his venmo id, which the pic was shared on gameday’s twitter, then why can’t I just put a pic of a SOS with my paypal email, throw it on instagram, facebook and twitter, maybe some will feel compelled to send me money too. Sure it’s silly but sillier things have happened!
The way I see it is if good deeds are meant to get rewarded, not punished, then please show me the money. I’m sending an SOS in the sand and hopefully it doesn’t get washed away!
