Day 12 Of 365 Days Challenge: Overworked, Overwhelmed and My Cat Needs A Job

What was I thinking when 12 days ago I launched my challenge to make a million dollars from this blog in 365 days or less. Did I realize the scope of what I am trying to achieve? Apparently not.

I think making the commitment of writing a daily post is the difficult part, and although I did have some written up prior to (and should have had more), there is the fine tuning you have to do before you can make your post go live. And yesterday’s post of how to start a blog required the most time since it was a step by step tutorial with images. And I’m still tuning it so no wonder I am rushing to write this one before the day is out

If I didn’t think I had enough time in the day to accomplish everything, I have even less now. My strategy was to work smart more than hard, but right now it is working hard and no time to think how to work smart. These are the building stages, so I guess I have no choice but to grin and bear it.

I definitely am overworked and overwhelmed, but I am up for the challenge and committed to see it through.

My cat though isn’t helping me any. After I start my day getting her and myself breakfast, a few chores including cleaning her litterbox, then just when I’m ready to sit down to go to work, she comes over staring at me with her cute face. If I ignore her too long, she whimpers and meows to get my attention. It’s about 2 or 3 times in the morning, one to sit in my lap to get petted and the other 2 for snacks (always hungry), then it’s lunch time, and so on unless she is taking a nap.

If there is any sun around, then she disappears for awhile to lay in the sun but cloudy days has less to do. Even the bird entertainment outside the window isn’t enough. Thankfully though, after supper, she is fine until bedtime but most of the day (unless napping) is interrupting my work. She really is on schedule, in how she operates, and would be a perfect candidate for a job where she reminds you for things (that concern her).

Anyone hiring as I need to find her a job to keep her busy and let me work. I don’t think she understands the concept of work as probably thinks, if I am sitting down, I’m just relaxing or something like when she sits down doing nothing, which is most of the time, if not laying down. But she is sweet and provides some amusing moments to break up my day.

Okay this post is going live as it is, because it’s bedtime and I have no time to fine tune it. Will do that tomorrow, if I have time!
